Dutch most famous band since the sixties!
Golden Earring is known as the most popular Dutch band since the sixties. Their first hit (with the bandmembers George Kooymans and Rinus Gerritsen only) was called "Please Go". In 1968 they got into Europe with their single "Dong-Dong-Di-Ki-Di-Gi-Dong". In 1969 the line-up of the band was complete with the addition of Barry Hay and Cesar Zuiderwijk). With the single "Radar Love" they got a nr. 1 hit in Holland, a nr. 10 hit in England and also in America they finally got attention! They toured around the States with Doobie Brothers and Santana. "Radar Love" got a second succes when pop-metal band White Lion covered the hit in 1989. We'll hear the single again at the Arrow Rock Festival!
